As an experienced occupational therapist in the fields of pediatrics and psychology, there has been a significant impact made on the lives of many. The journey began with a full-time position as a school-based occupational therapist, nurturing the minds and bodies of learners within a wide age range (7-29) challenged with cognitive disabilities, intellectual disabilities (ID), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), sensory processing difficulties, and other rare syndromes. Over several years, valuable experience was gained in addressing the unique needs of these individuals, providing them with the support and tools necessary to thrive.
Additionally, a role at a local mental health and addiction clinic under the supervision of a specialized psychiatrist offered further growth. This opportunity broadened horizons, bringing valuable experience with individuals from diverse backgrounds facing various psychological disorders. The work involved supporting those diagnosed with substance use disorders (addiction), depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and other psychological conditions. Through these experiences, a deep understanding of both pediatric and psychological therapeutic practices was developed, enabling the delivery of comprehensive and empathetic care to all clients.
obtained the Certification in Leadership in Ayres Sensory Integration (CLA-SI), an approach that evaluates and treats individuals with sensory integration problems using interventions based on an evidence-based approach.

My passion for cinema and acting influenced my inclination to use drama as a therapeutic tool. This led me to enroll in a specialized and internationally accredited course in psychodrama, a therapeutic approach that uses techniques based on practical and scientific methods to address psychological issues. Additionally, it utilizes the power of storytelling and performance to evoke emotions, which are essential elements for expression, expanding perceptions, accepting different viewpoints, and fostering empathy. I believe these elements can be used in therapy to help individuals heal and confront various challenges
My constant desire to make a positive impact on others' lives is what drove me towards a humanitarian career. I earned a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from the Hashemite University, providing me with a solid foundation to translate my passion into helping individuals facing various challenges, whether developmental (since birth) or psychological. My ultimate goal is to provide compassionate, scientific, and practical care that enables individuals to achieve their full potential despite the challenges they face.
